A Day in the Life:

As a Pharmacy Technician Assistant, your day is focused on creating a smooth and efficient experience for customers at the pharmacy counter. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, and assist with locating non‑prescription items while ensuring each interaction is professional and courteous. You play an important role in helping customers navigate their visit and direct questions to the pharmacist when needed. Another part of the role is keeping the pharmacy organized and running consistently throughout the day. You’ll assist with order processing, maintain cleanliness, and help manage records and basic pharmacy tasks within regulatory guidelines. With multiple tasks happening at once, the pace stays steady making it a good fit for someone who is organized, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. What you bring to the table

: Customer Interaction Skills

: Clear communication when assisting customers on the sales floor Stocking & Merchandising

: Placing product accurately on shelves and maintaining display standards Product Knowledge

: Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricing Attention to Detail

: Accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products Organization & Time Management

: Managing workload efficiently while maintaining clean, organized areas Equipment Use:

Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and store equipment following safety guidelines Inventory Awarene

ss: Monitoring stock levels and maintaining backroom organization Operational Awareness

: Following company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processes Adaptability

: Comfort working varied shifts, including day, evening, or overnight schedules Physical Capability

: Comfort with frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 lbs. Requirements

Pay Transparency: Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
